Oops… I Accidentally Ghosted My Blog

So... everything I said would happen... happened.

And then life decided that wasn't nearly enough.

My dog had surgery... and then complications... which meant a whole lot of rehab, worry, and celebrating every little milestone.

I finished writing Book 2.

Then I edited it.

My beta readers read it... which meant (you guessed it) more editing.

Book 2 now officially has a title: The Rule We Keep. And it's currently with my editor for... wait for it...

...more editing.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, my mom came to visit, I found out I'm going to be an aunt (which is incredibly exciting!), my horses moved to a new farm, and I somehow still managed to keep showing up for work.

And because apparently there weren't enough projects on my plate, I also started Book 3.

I'm already ten chapters in, and I'm having so much fun with it.

I clearly don't know how to relax because I started a passion project with a friend, too. We're currently seventeen chapters deep into a zombie apocalypse, and honestly? It's been an absolute blast.

So yes... a lot has happened since March.

The blog may have been quiet, but I definitely haven't been.

The world kept turning, life kept life-ing, and I just kept writing.

Sorry for disappearing, friends.

I'll do better in the future...

...or at least I'll try.
